My name is Charlie Jermyn. I am a copywriter, writer and radio host from Dublin living in Amsterdam. In the photo, you can see me on the Afsluitdijk crossing over into Friesland. There were tourists taking a moment in the salt air to ponder the inland sea. The turbines whipped up the world around us. I purchased a tub of cheese blocks from the ESSO garage.
